About The Author

Kim, Seung Hyup

This book is designed as a reference and working guide for practitioners who deal with patients with neoplastic diseases of the urinary tract and male genitalia, including tumors of the kidney, ureter and urinary bladder, prostate, testis, adrenal gland, and retroperitoneum. Each chapter describes and illustrates key imaging findings relevant to the characterization, differential diagnosis, and staging of lesions. Pattern recognition is facilitated through the use of schematic drawings, and imaging findings on post-treatment follow-up also form an important component of the book. Brief core descriptions of related multidisciplinary fields, such as nuclear medicine, pathology, urologic surgery, and radiation oncology are included whenever relevant. Chapter 1: Renal tumors.- Chapter 2: Urothelial tumors.- Chapter 3: Prostatic tumors.- Chapter 4: Tumors of the male genitalia.- Chapter 5: Adrenal tumors.- Chapter 6: Retroperitoneal tumors. “A comprehensive guide to oncological imaging and an invaluable guide for those approaching the FRCS(Urol). … those with more sub-specialist interests will inevitably benefit from more dedicated texts.” (Tim Lane, urologynews, urologynews.uk.com, July 1, 2018)

“Editors S. H. Kim and J. Y. Cho, with the help of 20 Korean experts in radiology, oncology, nuclear medicine, pathology, aimed to gather practical information, focusing on imaging techniques in onco-urology. Their work addressed all imaging aspects of various tumours of the genitourinary tract. … This richly illustrated textbook was intended for all practitioners involved in the management of urologic malignancies, and the practical information makes this book very useful.” (European Urology Today, March-May, 2017)
